A route to Rothesay Joint Campus

03 2019

One of the routes identified as a priority for improving walking, cycling and potentially scooting too in Rothesay was between the town centre and Rothesay Joint Campus. In spring of 2019 Argyll & Bute Council invited the residents and businesses of Bute to give their views on the development of a new walking and cycling route between the ferry terminal and the Rothesay Joint Campus (RJC).

Argyll & Bute Council worked with WYG and streets-UK on community engagement on how cycling and walking between the town centre and joint campus could be made better. This included looking at different possible routes. You can view some of the online comments the community submitted at the time with this link.

The comments and suggestions made by the community were then used to undertake a feasibility study on the best route that could be taken forward.
